Pixel Works

Here are a some samples of my amateur pixel animations based off of my friends. I've tried to imitate Paul Robertson's style a bit (check his stuff out at http://probertson.tumblr.com/), and I hope it comes off as that. I'm a big fan of his work, especially on the Scott Pilgrim game and Mercenary Kings. More to come in the future!

Flash Creations: String Fury art

I worked as a freelance artist for BeArCo Games to make all art assets for the game String Fury. The game is a similar numbers game to Sudoku, but with all the numbers already displayed on a board. The player must "string together" number combinations, following the game's rules, to reach a high score. All art includes User Interface, Character Design, and animations. Here's some samples of my work!

Speed Paintings 2: More Magic Fan Art

Hey everyone, I'm finally posting new stuff! I have here some of my favorite visually appealing Magic: The Gathering cards. "Forest" (Unhinged) is originally done by John Avon, which I recreated as best as I currently can in speed painting form. Next, I have the popular "Black Lotus" card, original art by Chris Rahn. Finally, I made "Path to Exile" a beautiful piece originally made by Todd Lockwood. All original artists are from Wizards of the Coast, for Magic: The Gathering. This is just speed painted fan art. All 3 pieces took me roughly 2-2.5 hours to make in Photoshop from start to finish.

Wacky Workout-- Enemy Designs for Flash

Hi everyone! Back in college, I joined a small team with my art & programmer friends to make a project for a school contest. I was in charge of the enemy designs and animations for the first 2 levels. We called our demo game "Wacky Workout" which you can go ahead and play HERE! (Give it a moment to start, even it shows a broken image icon)

Speed Paintings ~30 min Magic Fan Art

"Island", "Castle", and "Forest" each are original concepts by JW Frost, David O' Connor, and John Avon (respectively) from Wizards of the Coast. I just made these in about 30 minutes to practice speed painting environments.

3D Work

I started up again, now it's 2014 and I wanted to see if I can still make any 3D things. Here's a couple Chaos Emeralds I made in 3DS Max like the ones from the Sonic game series! (Also some other fancy-shaped gems)

This was a piece I tried in my free time a few years ago. I was trying my hand at lighting effects in 3DS Max 2009.
A standard 3D Environment for a class assignment. We had to make a 3D scene of our choice, I went with a dimly lit hospital hallway and added in a monster for that bit of horror. Made in 3DS Max 2008.

Character Designs

This is Gumm-B, my super-powered bear(?) thing. He can fly, stretch, and he's really heavy!

Gumm-B Character Info

Gem Taroc is an original character by me, made for a fun event that was called OC Tournament.
A caricature of myself in a music-themed fantasy world. I chose Metal. \m/
This original character was created by a DeviantArt friend; I just added color to his linework.
Some wacky Western-themed character I made up.
